Gates and Jobs joint appearance
Here the funny highlights of the joint interview of Gates and Jobs. Steve Jobs speaks out of my heart when he says at : "I think of most things in life as either a Bob Dylan or Beatles song."
Since the day I moved to my flat in Berlin, I have listened to either the White Album or the Beatles Anthology II (great rare, alternative cuts) every day in the morning when in the shower and to Bob Dylan on the iPod when on my way to work. Could not think of a better soundtrack of my life.
The video below is a must-see. Kara Swisher is such a talented journalist. Jobs makes funny refernces to the PC vs. MAC ads. I really ask myself: Why is it that American CEO's are so much funnier, more relaxed and easy-going than their European counterparts? I guess that Americans generally tend to be much more self-ironical than us Europeans.
Here some examples of the fanatastic line of MAC vs. PC ads for those of you, who have never cared to watch all of them on Youtube.

Geosense
Wanna test your geography lesson and play against other players online? My friend Mark told me about this game. He is a political and economic analyst for a competitor of the Economist Intelligence unit and told me that he plays this game against other colleagues online. And since it teaches you about geography he may as well consider it work.
It is funny how he tells me about this just a couple of days after I considered making myself a list of all the world's countries and capitals that i wanted to study on my train ride to work. Just to keep the brain muscle working out a bit. I will now be able to put that newly gained geographical knowledge to a test: Geosense.

Great Start Up
MyMüsli, custom-mixed, all organic cereals.
Great product: one where the customization power of the internet really adds value to the product. Even ofline shopping aficionados must see the benefit of being able to choose all the ingredients of your preferred Müsli.
Great Market: Germans love Müsli and with more and more people turning to LOHAS, this is going to be a continously growing market.
Great Revenue Model: Hey, I mean there is a clear revenue model here from day one of operations. Most Web 2.0 start ups in the Valley don't even have one after years of operations.

What is Twitter?
I have been writing about Twitter a lot and am getting more and more fond of it. I am not a Twitter envangelist though and have actually argued against the sustainability of the Twitter hype on Scoble's blog and have gotten a good review for my post. I will post that post (good english) the next days. Twitter is huge within the Tech Community, but has not gotten mass yet, esspecially not in Europe. Since most of my readers will probably not know what Twitter is, here a little introduction video:
Not-techies probably thing Twitter is the source of a new wave of attention deficit that tech addicts suffer from/ enjoy.;-)

Obama 08
Kevin Rose, the founder of Digg and Diggnation and one of the funniest geeks in Silicon Valley would like this image as a poster; I would love to have a T-Shirt with that image. As of today Obama should have a secure nomination. Nice one!
